The American artist David Becker comes to Germany and uncovers the ’secrets‘ of his decade-long career.
In this workshop the international guitarist, composer and producer will provide you with:
- his view on talent, mindset and work ethics
- experiences and stories of being an international artist
- surprising advice on how to build a lasting career
- and much more!
Additionally we will have a Q&A (Questions & Answers) Session:
- Take the chance to ask David for advice – no matter what questions you have or what career stage you are in
- David builds upon decades of experiences and also knows what it takes to thrive in the digital age
David speaks English and German. So, feel free to ask your questions in German.
About David Becker
For more than a quarter of a century, Grammy nominated guitarist, composer and producer David Becker has continued to define himself as one of the best and most unique voices in jazz and contemporary music.
Together with his brother Bruce on drums, they have led the critically acclaimed DAVID BECKER TRIBUNE to a worldwide audience by performing in more than 20 countries.
Over the years, David has shared the stage with such celebrated jazz acts as Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Michael Brecker and many more.
German television journalist Roger Willemsen (ZDF) called him „One of the best Jazz guitarists ever.“ Jazz Podium and Downbeat called him „A poet on the Jazz Guitar.“ Jazz Thing and Gitarre & Bass called him” a virtuoso”.
David has released 14 recordings many topping the jazz and contemporary music charts. In 2015, The Heritage „David Becker“ Signature 575 guitar was unveiled at NAMM and two new recording projects have been released in summer, „Message to Attila” (ENJA) and “The Lonely Road” (Acoustic Music Records).
